Bio:

Veronika Röggla is a team member of the Optima lab. She obtained her MD degree at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria in July 2018. During her medical studies abroad she attended Universities in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and South Africa. After three years of research in the anterior segment of the eye, she is currently finishing her PhD in the field of Clinical Neurosciences and joined the OPTIMA team in July 2021.

Research Interests:

– Application of automated imaging algorithms
– Retinal image analysis
– Morphologic biomarkers in retinal diseases
