Bio:

Markus Gumpinger attainted his MSc in mathematics with a focus on applied mathematics and scientific computing. His thesis was about improving the computational power of linear learning machines by using kernel functions.

After his studies, Markus worked as a mathematician and software developer on a computational core for life insurances. Markus joined Optima in April 2022 as a research engineer.
