We are an interdisciplinary group of experts in retinology, computer science and medical physics developing innovative image analysis methods for precision medicine in retinal disease. Our research focus lies on the quantitative analysis of state-of-the-art ophthalmic imaging, in particular optical coherence tomography, and the development of prognostic disease models for improved patient management in leading eye diseases. By collaborating with our partners from science and industry, we aim to individualize and lower treatment needs for exudative macular disease, and to establish personalized prognosis models in early age-related retinal disease.
